Free Bengali support for Linux and KDE

I am working on trying to get basic support for Bengali into standard Linux distributions. So far, I have produced a font encoded as per the template produced by the Free Bangla Font project, which I hope will get incorporated into their releases.
I have also added a Bengali definition into KDE's l10n directory tree...this should emerge in KDE 3.0.

The folks at Bengali on Linux are currently working on comprehensive support for Bengali on Linux.
